Rooms at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas are running from about $80.00 to $100.00 a night. The group rates are no better than what you can get on your own so everyone just book your own reservations. You do not have to stay at the Monte Carlo but it is such a nice Hotel! They have a awesome pool area and a food court in the hotel with McDonalds and Subway in there, so you never have to leave the Hotel.
I have had several parents interested in going on to California after our Vegas Competition, so I am looking into a possible performance at Sea World (ONLY IF THE MAJORITY OF DANCERS GO) and a workshop at Disneyland. I will have packages up on the blog by the end of this week. Please send a note in with your daughter letting me know either yes or no about going onto California. Do not have tehm just tell me because I forget to easy! Please send it in writing. (either way)

Hey Michele,
I love the idea of going on to California after Las Vegas! When you had a parent meeting in the fall your husband suggested having a huge group garage sale as a fundraiser. I think that is the most awesome idea ever. We ALL have precious junk in our basements that could make some dance $$. Is that something you think we all could help plan?

Can you give us additional information on times and place of the competition in Las Vegas - so we know when we need to be there and how many nights we need to stay and where they are performing.
Is it at the Monte Carlo?
It looks like we will not be able to stay and go to CA afterwards.
